Our drugstore told us that Maalox had been recalled which is why Walmart and Our drug store doesn’t?

I have been taking Maalox for years, and now I can’t find it in any store. What happened to it?
what happened to Mallox extra strength, did they recall it and why ?
I just went to Walgreens and CVS and neither want had Maalox on the shelves. All Maalox products were removed. I asked the pharmacist and she didn’t know why.
Have been all over, can’t find any maalox. Asked at pharmacy and couldn’t give us an answer. Why ? My husband lives on it.

That is the info I found about Maalox, my Mom couldn’t find it either and the pharmacy told her it was a recall. Hope this helps

Why is maalox not in stores anymore? I have read all the info I can find but nothing about when it will be put back on the market. My husband takes it every night to be able to sleep. Please send me some info.

Please put Maalox back on the shelves soon. It is the only thing I can take. Anything else makes me gag. I thought I was the only one that could not find it anywhere until I read the above. Hope it will be back soon.
Why was Maalox recalled?
This happened in September 2011? Let’s look at the calendar…this is a year later and still no Maalox. I want to believe you but if some water leaked from a seal a year or more ago it is a hard story to buy. I don’t want to thin
k that Novartis is not telling the truth but somebody has a nose that is now more than a foot long. Let’s fix the problem and bring the product back.

The plant that manufactures and ships Maalox “closed for improvements” in Feb. 2012, but it’s been a year now.
When will MAALOX be back in stores? Been taking it for many years and it helped me cure my ulcer.
